What is a Home Inspection?

A home inspection is a visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a home.  We inspect the home inside and out and get into those places you don’t necessarily look at when you are making your buying decision – roofs, attics, crawlspaces and everything in between. If you are thinking of buying a house, co-op or condominium, or multi unit property you should have it properly inspected before the final purchase by an experienced and impartial professional home inspector.

What Does a Home Inspection Include?

A complete inspection includes a visual examination of the house from top to bottom. I will examine the heating system, the central air conditioning system (when temperature permits), the interior plumbing, and electrical systems, the roof and visible insulation, walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors, the foundations, basement and visible structure. Then, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive home inspection report, filled with pictures and descriptions of any issues we find, so you can make an informed buying decision.
