What's a Radon Testing?

A radon test is a continuous read monitor placed in the lowest level space within the house. We record the radon gas emitting from the ground, relative humidity, barometric pressure and temperature over a minimum of 48 hours.  You will get a written report of the findings.

Radon is an odorless, invisible gas and when it decays it emits radiation. ICU Home Inspection can test your home for Radon to make sure you don’t have elevated levels of radon.

Having your property tested is the only way to know if you and your family are at risk from these radioactive gases.

Radon seeps out of the ground and enters your house through cracks and holes in your home’s foundation and even through drains. It collects in enclosed areas like basements and crawl spaces. Radon can build up over time to the point when it becomes a serious problem.

Areas Tested

  • Cover soil in crawl spaces
